Use the keyword query form for simple searches of the following data:
- Search for chemicals by MeSH® name, synonym, accession ID (“MESH:#####”)
or CAS Registry Number.
- Search for diseases by MeSH name, synonym, OMIM accession ID (“OMIM:#####”),
or accession ID (“MESH:#####”).
- Search for genes by NCBI Gene symbol, name, synonym or accession ID
(“GENE:#####”).
- Search for GO terms by name, synonym or accession ID (“GO:0008219” or
“8219”).
- Search for organisms by NCBI Taxonomy scientific name, common name, synonym or accession ID (“TAXON:#####”).
- Search for pathways by KEGG or REACTOME name or accession ID (“KEGG:#####”
or “REACT:#####”).
- Search for references by author (“lastname initials”), title, abstract,
PubMed® ID or Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
- Select the All option to search all these data categories at once.
You can combine multiple terms in one query using the & (and) and
| (or) Boolean operators.
You may use * as a wildcard, but only at the end of a word.
Searches are not case sensitive.
