- Under the drop-down Search
menu, select the Genes
query.
- Select contains from the drop-down menu next to the Chemical search box. Type heavy metal in the Chemical search box.
- Select ANY from the drop-down menu of the Chemical–gene interaction type field.
- Select equals from the drop-down menu next to the Gene Ontology search box. Type transcription factor activity in the Gene Ontology search box.
- Click the Search button.
- The results list shows transcription factors that have their activity affected by heavy metals. Chemical icons (
) link directly to the chemical data for a gene. Disease icons (
) link directly to the disease data for a gene.
